Qualification Requirements:

- Associates/Bachelors Science Degree or Technology Institute certificate in the computer, IT or related engineering or technical field
- Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting computers and TCP/IP networks
- Command line experience with at least one of the following operating systems - Unix, Windows or Mac OS
- Strong customer and inter-personal communication skills

Skills that will need to be acquired through training and self study (any or all a plus):

- In depth understanding of Linux, Macintosh, Windows, and some IRIX/Sun systems
- Scripting Linux bash, perl and php scripting
- Storage Systems configuration and maintenance – including Fibre Channel
- TCP/IP configuration and maintenance
- Understanding and troubleshooting video I/O and real-time systems

Position Title: Junior Systems Engineer

UE Designer

Description:
We are looking for an exceptional and flexible Web-based application UI Designer/Developer.
We are keen on that rare developer who has a great design eye; or the great UI designer who
can develop for the web with the best of them. We need a person who can, from scratch, design,
code and deliver highly usable, user centric technical web applications; using industry standards and methods.

Job Details:

- Design highly effective user interfaces for technical web-based storage products, using industry standard UCD methodologies
- Code the production ready interface for world-wide deployment using standard methodologies and technologies
- Create all graphic elements for the applications
- Create prototypes for use in testing, demonstration and proof-of-concept
- Design and facilitate user testing
- Design and build prototype interfaces for technical, non web based applications

Qualificiations:

- 7+ yrs web UI design and development experience
- Expert in web UI technologies (HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java, AJAX, ...)
- Excellent UE, graphic design and web design skills including visual asset production
- Passion for user centred design and usability
- Object oriented languages programming experience
- Cross-browser technologies and HTML validation
- Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Omnigraffle, Visio
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing medium scale web applications
- Demonstrated experience in user testing for web applications
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Graphic Design, computer science, HMI, UCD, etc.)
