BrightDrive Workspaces offer a range of price and performance levels that can be mixed and matched in the BrightDrive environment to achieve maximum efficiency. Because applications vary, Workspaces are either configured for multiple real-time streams of film and video, or as performance nearline. Workspaces are configured from Diskpacks featuring multi-ported cache and 72-hour battery back-up for the highest levels of availability and system security. Redundant, hot-swappable power supplies, cooling systems and disk drives combined with highly robust, rugged design further enhance reliability and up-time. A modular architecture offers cost-effective, grow-on-demand scalability.


BrightDrive Workspaces include four independent fibre channel host ports to ensure dual host access to all drives. A platform-independent system management and configuration tool allows out-of-band management of the storage subsystem, and email notifications of selected events.
